GPU-based raycasting


This shot is actually quite old, but I forgot to post it. I tested raycasting through volume textures, accumulating the density along the ray. While the visual results were ok for the start, the performance was not. So i abandoned that approach.


New website
After ages without any update i decided to redo my website layout and contents after 2 years without anything new.

Cloud Generator


First tests with cellular automata cloud formation.Only rudimentary shading and plain blob particle texture. The algorithm is based on A Simple, Efficient Method for Realistic Animation of Clouds from Dobashi et al.
